HEY y'all it has been ages since I've been active in this platform.I think its safe to say that I had several other more important things to concentrate on.As of now..fortunately or unfortunately,its QUARANTINE period and I'm here with some content.

PROLOGUE:

            I've always wanted to write a poem on my own (though there are a few disasters that I've made earlier, [P.S:me guessing that this poem is a proper one] I thought that I'd give it a go as I found some cool ideas and that I also had time)

In this poem,I've compared life to a Deep Blue Sea.

LIFE IS BUT A METAPHOR.

                                                                -SHERLINE CALISTA.

That day when I came to sight see,

Was the very day I saw you with a glee.

Why did you influence me that way?

Maybe because I was badly hurt that day.

Now,even though I am afar

Why do you still cling on to me from so far?

Is it the gentle and soft waters?

or the sunset like orange paint on a blue canvas.

Is it the force to destroy and rival the land?

or the benign crawls of water towards the shore.

Is it the richness you have in store within?

or the ruthlessness you show when triggered.

I believe that we get emotionally the closest

with the things that resonate with us the mostest.

Sometimes LIFE is compared to a Deep Blue Sea

Heartbreaks compared to shipwrecks,

Misfortunes compared to storms,

People stuck up in chaos hoping for redemption compared to

the waves crashing as the sailors struggle to save their lives,

Hoping and praying that help arrives.

But in the end,just as there is always a sunshine after a nightfall,

Just as the sea kindles to its own symphony after a disaster,

Even a human mind can enthrall if it wishes to.

Oh mind!Its not about the bad days that you go through,

Its about the way you get through it.

Remember,experience will always be a silver lining.

Chaos isn't always an enemy,

and neither is happiness always a friend.

Face the darkness,unafraid.

And OH!Life is but a metaphor.

EPILOGUE:

       The quote that I've mentioned at last was going through my mind for a couple of months.I find that quote to be so sensational and beautiful. I've always wanted to formulate it into a poem or a story or a quote so,I just gave it a go.Hope y'all liked it.Sorry for any misinterpretations or errors.
